Michael A. Markson, D.M.D., P.C.

Dr. Michael Markson acknowledges that his interest in dentistry began while still in high school. Breaking up his college education with duty in the Army resulted in the beginning of his dental career. Training as a laboratory technician and assistant further peaked his interest in dentistry.

After completing his Army service in 1961, his plan of having a family and becoming a dentist took shape. He married his longtime sweetheart in the same year, and entered dental school at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey in 1962. Graduating in 1966, he entered general practice for four years until returning to New York University School of Dentistry for postdoctoral training in endodontics.

Dr. Markson continued in private practice in New York City and as a clinical instructor at Fairleigh Dickinson University until moving with his wife and three children to Arizona in 1979.

He continues his dental education with at least 30 hours annually through membership in the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, Arizona Endodontic Association, Arizona Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Society and Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry.
